Severe weather is a good possibility late this afternoon and into the evening. Thunderstorms are expected and may bring with it high winds and hail. Chief Meteorologist Patrick Core will keep you updated all day today on Georgia 93-7.

The Walker County Detention Center had 3 felony arrests on Sunday. Among those facing felony charges; Elijajuan Covonte Smith was booked on possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, driving without a valid license and no proof of insurance along with other charges. 46-year-old Kristopher Shaun Roberson faces possession of marijuana, meth and DUI in addition to other charges.

The latest restaurant inspection report is out for Walker County. The Jacks in Chickamauga scored a 96. The Chickamauga Taco Bell notched a 97. Wanda’s in Rock Spring received a 96. Amigo’s in Rossville scored a 93.

A Friday house fire in Catoosa County claimed the life of a female resident. The Catoosa County Fire Department said that four firefighters were injured in the blaze. The Catoosa Fire Chief says the four are doing well and recovering but requested continued prayers for the group.
