There were seven felony arrests in Walker County on Wednesday. Among those booked in to the Walker County Detention Center, 50-year-old April Dawn Lumpkins was charged with possession of meth.
A two-vehicle accident with injuries happened yesterday in Walker County. The accident occurred on LaFayette Road at Lakeview Drive in Rossville. Emergency personnel had to administer several doses of Narcan. Details of the crash and seriousness of the injuries have not been released.
The National Park Service is planning a prescribed fire at the Chickamauga Battlefield next week. The park plans to burn approximately 500 acres west of Alexander Bridge Road. Some roads will be closed during the burn. The National Parks service says they don’t expect the burn to last long.
If you’re an AT&T customer and you experienced service issues yesterday, you were not alone. AT&T suffered a widespread outage. The problem spilled over to other carriers. AT&T said the interruptions were planned. As of 10pm last night, most of the issues had been resolved nationwide.
