Patchy freezing fog is expected all across northwest Georgia this morning. Please drive safely. Make sure you slow down, use your low beam headlights and leave a little extra room between you and the car in front of you. Conditions are expected to improve as we move through the morning hours.

The city of LaFayette is holding a public meeting this evening. City leaders will share information about the Community Block Grant from the state the city is seeking. The funds would be used to replace aging sewer lines around Chestnut Street, Parnell Court, Smallwood Street and Magnolia Street. The meeting will start at 5:30pm at the library.

The latest restaurant health inspection report is out. Armando’s in Rossville received a 96. The Rossville Amigo’s got a 93. Cesario’s Pizzaria, also in Rossville got a 100.

Rambler basketball is back on the court tonight. The boys and girls teams are at home to face Gilmer. JV Boys play at 4:30pm. The varsity girls play at 6. The boys tip off at 7:30pm.
