Keep an eye on the weather today. Not just for the heat, but for active weather moving into the area. A weak cold front will bring our best chance of showers and thunderstorms from mid-afternoon into the evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible, with damaging winds the main concern, but the overall threat is isolated. Temperatures will ease slightly behind the front, but remain in the low to mid-90s. Hot weather and spotty afternoon storm chances continue through the rest of the week.
