The LaFayette City Council will hold its monthly meeting today. The meeting is set for 6:30 at the LaFayette City Hall at 207 South Duke Street.
The Walker County Detention Center reported two felony arrests on Saturday. 30-year-old Corey Lee Wallen was arrested on Charges of violation of probation, DUI-Drugs and driving on a suspended license.
The four Republican candidates in Catoosa County will be on the May primary ballot. A Catoosa County judge ruled Friday morning that the Republican party must put the four names on the ballot. GOP leaders in Catoosa County tried to deny the four candidates names on the ballot because they didn’t adequately represent the Republican party. The judge has set a March 27th hearing to determine if the Catoosa County GOP and its leadership will be fined.
LaFayette Girls Golf is back in action today. The Lady Ramblers will take part in the Lady Catamount Invitational in Dalton. The even happens at the Dalton Golf and Country Club. Good Luck to the Lady Ramblers.
