A section of the Bluff Trail on Lookout Mountain has been temporarily closed following reports of aggressive wildlife, according to Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park.
Park officials said the closure affects the portion of Bluff Trail between the Cravens House Trail and the base of the metal staircase below Point Park.
Visitors are being asked to respect the temporary closure and not attempt to hike through the affected section until park officials announce that it has reopened.
The park did not specify what type of wildlife prompted the closure or how long the restriction is expected to remain in place.
Officials apologized for any inconvenience the closure may cause hikers and thanked visitors for their cooperation.
The affected trail is part of the Lookout Mountain unit of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park.
