The City of LaFayette has announced that its Business License, Codes and Permitting services have relocated to City Hall as part of an effort to make city services more convenient and accessible for residents and businesses.
The move brings several services together under one roof at City Hall, located at 207 South Duke Street, creating a one-stop location for customers handling city-related business.
According to city officials, the change is designed to streamline the process of establishing new utility accounts, obtaining required permits, applying for business licenses and completing other related services.
By consolidating these departments at City Hall, the city hopes to make the process more efficient and reduce the need for customers to visit multiple locations.
The city emphasized that all existing phone numbers associated with the affected services will remain unchanged.

For codes, business licenses, permitting services or to report utility outages, customers should call 706-639-1511.
