Laura Eileen Minghini, 77, of Rock Spring went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1946 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Julian and Martha McLendon. Mrs. Minghini was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe and enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike McLendon.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, James Minghini; sons, Jim (Leanne) Minghini and Todd (Cherie) Minghini; grandchildren, Dylan and Emma; nieces, Leslie Odom and Meagan Johnson; along with her sister-in-law, Ann McLendon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 15 in the funeral home chapel.
