Stacie Michelle (Smith) Rich

October 2, 1970 ~ November 12, 2023

Stacie Michelle (Smith) Rich, 53, of Ringgold, Georgia joined her Heavenly Father for her eternal home on November 12, 2023. Stacie was employed by the Catoosa County School System as an Occupational Therapist where she served students throughout the county.

Her sweet spirit, beautiful smile, and compassionate heart were constantly on display as she lived her life each day. Her greatest joy came from her children and watching them grow into incredible human beings and participate in their chosen activities.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald K. Smith.

Stacie is survived by her husband, Matthew Rich; children, Carson Rich, Caris Rich, and step-son Lawrence Rich; mother, Linda E. Proctor Smith Manton; Step-father, Tom Manton; sister, Donna (Neal) Knight; nephews, Justin (Morgan) Knight and Parker Knight; grand-niece, Hattley Knight, and grand-nephew, Jeremiah Knight.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff “Jabo” Brown officiating. A private burial ceremony will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family would recommend a donation to an organization of your choosing supporting cancer research or early detection.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15th and from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia 30742.
