Billy Charles Everette age 87, of LaFayette, GA passed away Monday – November 20, 2023. He was born on Lookout Mountain, Georgia to the late Hubert Bernard Everette, Sr. and Vera Bernice Massey Everette. He served his country in the U.S. Army and after his service he settled in the LaFayette area and has been a resident since the 1960’s. He was of the Christian faith and a member of Foster Mill Baptist Church. He was a former owner of a Gas Station in Salt Lake City, Utah, Everette’s Tire in LaFayette, worked as a licensed realtor and retired from Lowe’s Home & Garden Store in Fort Oglethorpe where he worked in Contractor Sales. He was a very talented musician, could play just about any instrument. He enjoyed going to art shows, gardening and most of all spending time with his family. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Georgia Florence Brown Everette, grandson: Vincent Everette, sister: Shelby Jean Chadwick, brothers: Hubert Bernard Everette, Jr., Dewell Everette and Sammy Everette. He is survived by his children: Jerome Bernard Everette, Carmen Everette, Adam (Mindy) Everette all of LaFayette, GA, grandchildren: Victoria, Brenner and Katie Everette all of LaFayette, GA, Alex and Skye Everette of West Palm Beach, FL, sisters: Janet Mason of Chickamauga, GA, Patsy Gilbert, Sylvia Brandon, brothers: Jimmy, Barry and Larry Everette all of Lookout Mountain, GA, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday after 9:00 am. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm – Wednesday – November 22, 2023 in the chapel with Barry Everette and Pastor Ricky Clark officiating.
