Mrs. Jeweldine “Jewel” Edwards Goodlet age 77, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Jewel was a life long resident of Ringgold, Georgia and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed volunteering with The Pink Ladies at Hutcheson Hospital, singing in the Clearview Baptist Church choir and painting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was always sure to attend their sporting events to cheer them on. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Goodlet; parents, William Ray Edwards and Lena Ruth Lee Edwards; sisters, Annis Sims and Willie McDaniel. Survivors include her husband, Mickey Liner; children, Chris (Patti) Goodlet, Lori (Michael) Clowdus; siblings, Earnest (Faye) Edwards, Rondle (Betty) Edwards; grandchildren, Krista (Barret) Blankenship, Austin (Lexis) Goodlet, Dallas Goodlet, Emme Clowdus; Eston Clowdus and four great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Darlene Pasley for her wonderful care. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Daily Hills Cemetery.
