Judy Gail Mitchem Haymons, age 67 of Summerville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born to the late Jesse Mitchem and Catherine Mitchem in Los Angeles, CA, was raised in the hills of West Virginia and has been a resident of North Georgia since 1997. Judy attended Lookout Baptist Church and enjoyed playing bingo, when she was not cooking or baking for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine Haymons & Christopher Metts and Sarah Piersol & Corey Piersol; grandchildren, Trey Zuniga, Thomas Brown, Tyler Brown, Jayden, Jerreca, Jaleigh, Kori, and Lincoln; great grandchildren, Lizebeth and Lemule; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Lookout Baptist Church, with Pastor Terry Burns officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service time at the church.
